Welcome To Weatherford Academy ...

An exciting private school located in Westwego, La on the Westbank of New Orleans. The academy was established by Martha Weatherford in December of 2010 as a child care center that obtained a Louisiana Graded "4th Star Provider Level" serving children age 6 weeks to 12 years.

After an amazing 3 years in child care, the academy relocated to 613 Fourth Street in Westwego, La and now has added PreK - 2nd Grade. This newly renovated facility will now house both the Weatherford Academy Child Development Center (WACDC) and Weatherford Academy School of Technology (WAST).

Elementary school is a time to thrive, learn and discover interests and talents. Child care services received in the early years  helps to  formulate the foundation which a child draws on as he or she develops skills to become a productive citizen
